The main purpose of learning environment standard is to ensure that teachers use their ability to provide a safe, warm, and welcoming environment to the students where they learn and grow. It also includes comfortable seating arrangement, establishing clear rules, giving them an opportunity to choose a place in a classroom where they are conducive to learn.
Three of the many ways I demonstrated this standard during my time as a student teacher is:
a) Arranging the classroom to maximize learning while providing a safe environment.

b) Establishing clear expectations, and enforcing them consistently and fairly.
c) Maximizing instructional learning time by working with students individually as well as in small groups or whole groups.
