Assessment is an important way to check the progress of student understanding and knowledge on a specific topic. Teachers can obtain data and information on students’ educational progress and use it to understand their learning needs. It is a great way to know students’ level of understanding and the parts where they fall behind.
Below are the three ways I demonstrated this standard during my student teaching experience.
a) Using a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress
b) Engaging students in quality work and provide them with timely, frequently, and effective feedback.
